I love Winter, the cold and the excuse to wrap up and wear too many layers. But I think like most this year a little warmer weather and the spring flowers appearing is what we all need. And of course… Easter. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I decided to make this plant pot style card, to demonstrate how cards don’t just have to be plain and simple shapes. This is a 3D card, which I have used Kraft card, which I adore to make the base, which has been embossed with a wood look folder and then added a top for the pot using a strip of card from the lovely paper range, here<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I have then added the cutest little Bunny<\/a> onto the front and its been coloured with alcohol markers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Whilst I looked at the card, I wanted to add a fun element to it, so I added some cut out carrot shapes and egg shapes to the plant pot, so it looks like they’ve grown and ready to be picked. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The top of the pot has had a lovely peach coloured Rick Rack trim to it and completed it with a simple sentiment<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
