This is my card for the Polkadoodles challenge, it was for a birthday and to be a spinner/slider card using orange and pinks 🙂
I like to make kinetic cards and those two colours work so well together, so I was pleased to make this. I used an orange card blank and added on a hot pink mat layer and then for the spinner element, I die cut the mechanism out of card that I had ink blended.
The mechanism shows off the orange of the card underneath. I have used the cute Llama love and hugs pre coloured digital stamp for the spinner element.
Finally I have used a piece of colourful paper in the middle circle and added a simple ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment. I wanted to add a softer element to the card so I die cut some simple flowers and leaves out of vellum and added them on around the sentiment, all finished off with some gems and dots.
