Friendship

This weeks challenge was all about friendship with Polkadoodles.

I decided to make a diamond easel card out of pale pink and light grey card stock. I have then matted these sections with the lovely papers, that work perfectly.

I have used the Camera Shy Unicorns, to represent friendship. I think they are adorable and work so well on this card.

Finally I have added a sentiment from the Lil Miss Sugarpops range, which is such a lovely varied sentiment set.

I have also added a few gems on to complete the card.

Hope you like my card.

Pretty in Pink

My card for this week was monochrome inspired. (one colour and white) I decided I would go with pink and white.

I have made a pink 5×7″ card blank and added a white mat layer.

Helga the hippo is a gorgeous Digi stamp, but I really wanted her to pop, so I made a little background for her using my pink shade alcohol inks. I think it has come out very well.

Helga has been coloured in in pink shades to go along with the monochrome theme, and she looks wonderful.

Finally I have added a few white gems and a lovely sweet sentiment to finish off the card.

Hope you like it.

Autumn Arriving

Autumn seems to be drawing in so this weeks challenge was to use fall colours of reds and oranges. I created an inked background using these colours.

I then cut out some leaf shapes out of the background card to create a shaker element featuring different sequins and confetti strands.

This card also features the stunning Winnie. I have coloured in to look like she is off to an Autumn ball. Love how versatile this stamp is.

I have also added a little sentiment, to finish off the card and some faux stitching.

Hope you like it.

Hot Hot Hot

Well this weeks challenge was to use pinks, oranges and limes. I knew straightaway I wanted to make an ombre card using those three colours.

So I used my inks to create the card, to mat onto this slide and reveal card. I have also made a rosette wheel with the leftovers, and added some leaves and flowers I have cut to go along with the tropical feel.

I knew exactly who would fit well into this card and its the Too Cute Llama, the sweetest little guy has been popped on using foam pads for dimension.

Finally I printed and inked up a fun sentiment from Winnies Celebration kit and added it onto the slide and reveal section.

Hope you like it.

Up, Up and Away

Slimline cards are something I like doing but never seem to do enough of, so when the Polkadoodles challenge was to do a slimline card I had the perfect image in mind.

I have used kraft card to make the card blank, then some cream paper and then the beautiful butterfly paper.

I have then used the image I had in mind, which is a Winnie celebration stamp. I have then fussy cut the image out, and added her onto the card with foam pads for dimension and last but not least, a Good Luck sentiment printed onto kraft card has been popped on also with foam pads.

Hope you like it.

Best Friends are the Best

Friends are so important, as people do say they are the family you can chose. Over the last 18 months, zoom calls, text messages and a wave from a window is how we all have managed to keep in touch. I also loved sending them all cards.

Polkadoodles challenge this week was perfect, so I made this card to send to a friend of mine.

I have made a white card blank that has been mat and layered with pink card and some beautiful papers by Polkadoodles.

I have also print and cut out with some tatty edge dies, the lovely Winnie twice. One has been flipped, so they appear as two different friends out shopping as the sentiment states 🙂

Finally a bow and gems are added and the card is complete.

Hope you like it.

Football Fever

As Europe seems to be gripped by football fever at the moment, I thought whats more appropriate than making a football card.

I have made an easel card today, showcasing the most bright and bold papers from Polkadoodles. These are the background for the worlds cutest footballer image, which I have made him look covered in mud, as thats the sign of a good game.

I have used the penny slider mechanism to make the football move as if the boy was kicking it.

Finally Ive added a lovely sentiment as a stopper for the easel card and it just finished it off nicely.

Hope you like it 🙂

Cheesecake

Hope you all have had a lovely weekend in the Sunshine. I have got so much gardening done it’s great and so relaxing.

This is my latest project with Polkadoodles. I have made this simple kraft card blank and added a die cut circle onto it with foam pads featuring the worlds cutest mouse. I love the cheese he’s holding. The heart in his pocket is adorable also.

I wanted to turn this into a Birthday card, but I wanted to pop on something different to turn it into it without a ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment. So I’ve used the candle image from the embellishments, and popped it on to the cheese, and voila we have cheesecake.

For a matching gift tag, I have used the same image, but made him be peeking in 🙂 I think it works well. I have also added some paper underneath, which is the same as I have used to make his party hat.

Finally I have added a very true sentiment, especially since lockdown.

Hope you like. Happy Crafting.

Gnome amongst the Flowerbed.

This guy is the sweetest little gnome I ever did see.

I have created a pop-up box card from white card stock. I have matted the sides with some gorgeous Polkadoodles Papers featuring little pink and peach daisies. They work so well on this card.

I wanted to make this card to really wow! So I have fussy cut some leaves and flowers from an embellishment bundle and added them onto the card with acetate and foam pads at varying heights.

Finally I wanted to use the sweet little gnome stamp as he was holding the most gorgeous bluebells, so I placed him low down in the box part of the card to give the impression he is sat amongst the flowers. I am glad how it turned out.

The sentiment I have chosen as well, I have printed it on Kraft card, and I’m impressed how it looks against the white of the card and the peach and pinks of the papers.

Bright Twist and Pop

Well I think we all need something bright and fun on this miserable rainy Bank Holiday Monday.

Here is my version of a Twist and Pop style card. I adore making these as you can decorate as simply or wildly as you like as you can decorate the front and inside.

I have used a kraft card base and added some bright yellow card as a backing matt and then layered with the lovely Winnie Papers.

I have then added the gorgeous Unicorn stamp to the front of the card. All finished off with the Rick Rack ribbon and some paper cut hearts, using some more wonderful papers.

Inside is the pop out element so I have kept things just as bright with the yellow matt and bright layer on top.

The Twist and Pop element has been made with kraft card too, and then matted and layered with the previous papers. I have added some smaller paper cut hearts on the panels.

All finished off with the perfect sentiment on a kraft card flag.

Hope this brightens up your day 🙂
